Grammy Predictions: Part 2

The album of the year category at this year's Grammy Awards is filled with pop perfection; I can't recall the last time such a mainstream groups of artists battled it out for the top prize of the night, but you can't get more poppy than Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, The Black Eyed Peas, and...Dave Matthews Band.

Here are the albums up for this year's Album of the year:

Beyonce "I am...Sasha Fierce"
Black Eyed Peas "The E.N.D."
Lady Gaga "The Fame"
Dave Matthews Band "Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King"
Taylor Swift "Fearless"

Who Should Win:

Beyonce. This is her most solid solo disc yet, and she was inescapable this year with such anthems as "Single Ladies", "Halo", and "Sweet Dreams. B has already taken home a staggering 10 Grammy Awards during her career, so we already know she's an awards darling. Expect her to have a big night.

Who Will Win:

Beyonce. The Black Eyed Peas got in purely on their commercial success (no substance), Lady Gaga's album was strong but it's rare for a new artist to win with a debut album, Taylor Swift is still to teeny-bopper in my eyes to be given this HUGE award, and Dave Matthews was just thrown in the mix to add some more testosterone.
