Britney's Big Comeback Year

As 2009 draws to a close, More Than Musiq must acknowledge the years biggest comeback, by this decade's most entertaining superstar.

Umm DUH, it's Ms. Britney Spears!

This blog began as a starting point to discuss the career of the Princess of Pop, and what a year it has been for Spears.

In the span of one year, Britney scored her 5th #1 album with Circus, which has sold nearly 5 million copies worldwide. From the album came multiple hit singles, including the #1 Grammy-nominated smash "Womanizer", as well as others including "Circus" (Peak #3 on Hot 100), "If U Seek Amy" (Peak #19), and Radar.

If that wasn't enough, Spears embarked on one of the biggest pop tours in history, selling out most of the 95-dates on her world tour! It will go down as one of the most successful tours by a female artists in HISTORY.

Next, Britney released her second greatest hits album which contained the new hit single "3", which became the first song to debut at #1 in three years.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW.

And although More Than Musiq does not like to talk about Brit's personal life, she seems to be happier than ever. She's supposedly dating her agent Jason Trawick, and her kids are back in her life again.

It was just a fabulous year for her and for the pop world, who welcomed back their high priestess with open arms.

So congrats Britney, and hopefully there will be even more success in 2010!
