Two Long Time Records Smashed

Jason Mraz and the Black Eyed Peas enter the history books this week, as Mraz's song "I'm Yours" and two jams by the Peas break longstanding Billboard records.

"I'm Yours" sees its 70th week on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing the record set by LeAnn Rimes in in 1997-98 when her song "How Do I Live" spent 69 weeks on the chart.

The Black Eyed Peas break the record for longest consecutive stay at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as the enter their 20th week in pole position. 12 of those weeks were from their first single off their new album The E.N.D. "Boom Boom Pow," and now their followup "I Gotta Feeling" stays put for its 8th week in a row.

This beats out Usher's 19-week #1 reign back in 2004 when his songs "Yeah!"and "Burn" occupied the top spot.

Congratulations to both artists!
