The Record Roundup

The Record Roundup is a weekly list of songs, albums, and anything pop culture that you should be aware of for the week.

This week, our list is topped by Shakira and her crazyridiculouslyweirdbutawesome new song "She Wolf." Here is the complete list of the other tasty little treats of this week.

THE LIST

1. Shakira's "She Wolf" - Probably one of the weirdest pop songs I've heard in a while, with creepy howling in the background, and a digitized Shak oozing her Columbian hotness all over the track.

2. Re-Vamped Billboard.com - The website that I, (along with millions of other chart followers) have grown up with, has completely redesigned and reformatted their layout. Equipped with an all new game that let's people choose which top 5 artists will make the biggest splash on the charts each week, the site is much more interactive and visually appealing.

3. Turtle Boy Music Awards - This is for all the locals looking to vote for their favorite Worcester musicians! Voting has already begun but go to Worcester Magazine online and click on the link to cast your vote!

4. Kings of Leon Announcing Fall Tour -Yessssssssssss

5. Jason Mraz close to breaking Billboard record - The laid back singer's monster single "I'm Yours" is still hanging around the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, even after 66 weeks on the charts. If the song can stick around for 4 more, he'll surpass LeAnn Rime's "How Do I Live" as the longest running song in Billboard history. You go Glenn Cocoa!
