Kelly Rowland Has Arrived

Kelly Rowland has had it rough since Destiny's Child split up in 2006, trying to come out from behind the massive shadow that is Beyonce. She started out on a positive note with the Grammy winning duet "Dilemma" with Nelly, but failed to deliver a solid solo album, and was left being the hook girl on modest U.S. hits like David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over."

Well ladies and gents, that is all about to be history with the release of her new single "Motivation", featuring the one and only Lil Wayne.

The song is hottt - a super sexy, slow R&B jam that everyone knew she could produce, but hasn't until now.

The single is already a smash on the R&B charts, sky rocketing this week to #3 and earning the greatest airplay gainer award. The single is also in the top 40 on the pop charts.

And what's the best news Kelly could hear at this stage in the game? Yup, that her song is doing WAY better than Beyonce's sub par track "Run the World (Girls)", which is struggling to make a dent on radio and is currently sitting at sad #65.

I bet Matthew Knowles is having a sh*t fit right about now.

Rihanna Strikes a Pose for RS

R&B/Pop superstar Rihanna is the latest cover girl for Rolling Stone Magazine, looking super sexy and fierce!

This is the first time Ri Ri has been on the cover of RS, which makes me wonder why she hasn't been on it sooner!?

There's also an exclusive interview with Britney Spears in the latest issue, which hits stands this Friday.

Can't wait!!

Bradley Cooper Delivers in Limitless

Bradley Cooper's latest flick Limitless was released the weekend, and to much buzz and fairly decent reviews, and after seeing the film I can now say that all the hype was well worth it!

The movie (which topped this weekend's box office with a cool $19 million) follows Cooper's character Eddie, a struggling down in the dumps writer who gets his hands on a pill that allows him to utilize 100% off his brain (SICK concept!!).

Obviously drama ensues blah blah blah....

But in all seriousness, it was a really good movie! Cooper and costar Robert De Niro are a super bro-dude combo that sizzles on screen, and the fact that the former Mr. Renee Zellweger is shirtless (and pants-less at one point) definitely draws in the female (and gay) demographic.

So definitely check out the movie, for some good ol' fashion big screen fun!!

Pink's F**kin' Perfect is F**kin' Great!

Pink's been on a roll the last couple years, and although she hasn't released a new studio album in a while, the singles off her greatest hits collection continue to be solid hits!

"F**kin' Perfect" is the second release from Greatest Hits...So Far!!! following the #1 smash "Raise Your Glass", and it looks like the song is going to be another home run.

The mid-tempo ballad shows the (somewhat) softer side of pop's reigning bad girl, but it still contains that edge that we've come to know and love with the girl formally known as Alicia Moore.

The track is currently #1 on iTunes and should be a serious contender for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, which would give her back-to-back chart toppers.

Pop Queen Britney Spears graces the August cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine, looking fierce and fab!!

Spears has been laying low after her hugely successful professional year in 2009, where she scored multiple hit singles, one of the biggest tours of the year, and a whole new slew of fans.

In the issue, Spears talks about her relationship with Jason Trawick, and how she dreads having the sex talk with her kids in the future!

Can't wait to read it!!

P.S. - Her body looks amazing...but doesn't it look like her head was just pasted onto someone else's body? Just saying...

There's a New Biatch on the Upper East Side

Entertainment Weekly reports that actress Katie Cassidy is joining the cast of Gossip Girl for next season, and apparantly stirring up some drama with Leighton Meester's Blaire!

Yes! Love the bitchy cat fights!

It's rumored that Cassidy's character will hook up with Chace Crawford's Nate, and cause a lot of commotion with all the Manhattan elite!

Sounds devilishly fantastic!

Katie Cassidy is none other than former teen idol David Cassidy's daughter. She's made a name for herself as a legit actress, appearing in Melrose Place, as well as movies like Taken and Click.

Looks like she's on her way to become a pretty big name!

Stone Cold Fox

The movie doesn't come out until September, but there's already a lot of positive buzz about the Emma Stone comedy Easy A. And judging by the trailer, it's gonna be SO FUNNY!

The film is about a nerdy-but-hot girl in highschool who helps her gay friend out by pretending they had sex. After that, her reputation skyrockets!

Stone has slowly been expanding her resume, delivering laughs in Super Bad and The House Bunny, but she's the star in this movie, which means it could be the breakout role she needs to become a leading lady.

Oh, and did I mention that AMANDA BYNES is in the movie too!?!?! It's her 'last' film before she retires, and she plays the snooty popular hottie who goes head-to-head with Stone's character.

I know what I'm doing September 17, anybody wanna join me!?!

My Heart is Broken

I needed a couple days to mourn, but now I can blog about it. The beloved Amanda Bynes has announced her retirement from acting at the ripe old age of 24. (sniff...sniff...Sob)

This is devastating news! Bynes has delivered some classic teen movies, like the legendary She's The Man, which I quote with my friends on a daily basis. Bynes said on her Twitter that she did not think acting was fun anymore and has decided to retire.

DON'T!!

I hope that she'll be like many other celebs who say they are 'retiring' but really just take a year off and come back swingin'. I really really hope so.

if not, RIP Amanda Bynes' career. You will be sorely missed.

I'm not a Huge Oprah Fan, but I do Love My Glee!

Now, I'm not one to rush home every day to make sure I catch Oprah at 4pm, but today is an exception.

It's Glee day! The entire cast of the awesome Fox show will be on Oprah, performing LIVE!!!

My dreams are coming true!! I get to hear Leah Michelle sing Glee songs LIVE!! Her voice is one in a million, and I honestly cannot wait!!

So make sure you tune in (or DVR) Oprah today, because we are all in for an afternoon of pure entertainment!

Ricky Martin Comes Out...Big Surprise?

Latin heartthrob Ricky Martin has FINALLY come out of the closet as a gay man, after over a decade of speculation.

First off, congratulations!

But secondly, ummm it was not a huge surprise to most. Since he burst on to the U.S. music scene in 1999 with his #1 hit "Living La Vida Loca" there has been much speculation regarding his sexuality, but he always kept things hush-hush.

Not anymore! Martin is now a proud and out gay man!

While he is still a huge part of the Latin music world, Martin has not release any English-language music in quite some time. Perhaps with all of this new media publicity he'll jump back on the wagon!

Heigl Is Officially Off Grey's

It's about time!

This week's cover of Entertainment Weekly announces that Katherine Heigl is officially done playing the role of Doctor Isabel Stevens on the long-running drama Grey's Anatomy.

The show is still one of the most popular dramas on TV, but we've all known for some time now that Heigl was sick of being on the show and wanted off. She claims that it was 'family issues' that resulted in her asking to be let out of her contract, but some (myself included) think that she wanted to focus more on her movie career.

In any case, she is no longer going to be in any of the episodes during this season, which is fine because her role has become somewhat dull lately.

Best of luck to her in the future though, hope this isn't a HUGE mistake on her part!

Channing Tatum All Hot and Bothered Down There

Here's the opening paragraph from the new interview with Channing Tatum in Details Magazine:

"Channing Tatum's penis is gross. It looks like a hot dog that's been left too long on the grill. The tip is hot-pink, singed, and shriveled. It appears angry. And it's painful to view. My penis hurts just from looking at it. Movie stars tend to be vain, by nature and profession, but Chan—that's what everyone calls him—does not mind one bit showing me his sad, withered wiener."

Umm EW. Apparently the actor burned his..uh...member while filming his latest movie The Eagle of the Ninth, when a crew member who was supposed to pour warm water in his wet suit after a frigid water scene instead poured SCALDING water on his crotch.

That blows.

Tatum says everything is back to normal, but I don't really see how someone who received third degree burns on their dong can ever be 'normal' again.

New Moon Delivers Lovey Dovey Cheesy Greatness

I was fortunate enough to catch the midnight showing for New Moon last night, and let me tell you, I was in cheesy vampire heaven the whole two hours!

I forgot how fantastically ridiculous these books and movies are. The teen angst, the undead depression, it's all so over the top that you can't help but be glued to your seat the entire time.

The theater was packed (and there were 3 other theaters open for the midnight showing as well) and this time around the crowd was a bit older, and a bit more diverse.

Last year's Twilight premiere was filled with 14-year-old girls and their moms, this time around the audience was older, mostly college students and much more guys than the previous year. Could this be a sign that the series is reaching a wider audience?

Who knows. Who cares really. As long as Edward and Jacob appear shirtless in the next film for an hour, all is well in the world.

IT'S TIME

Be prepared for full on Twilight PANDEMONIUM this week, as the second film in the franchise New Moon is set for release this Friday.

Pre-ticket sales are already through the roof for the film (I've got my midnight showing tickets!) and industry experts say that its opening weekend is going to be HUGE. The first movie made $191 million in North America alone, expect this one to be even bigger.

This week the three stars, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart grace the cover of Entertainment Weekly, all looking smokin' hot!

These kids are set for life, and just think, a year ago they were unknowns!

Don't Judge Me

Don't make any rash judgments when I say this, but I REALLY want to see Jennifer's Body this weekend, and I think I'm going to have to!

I'm not a huge fan of the scary movie, but what I've been reading and watching online makes this movie look more like a dark comedy that could potentially end up a cult classic!

Megan Fox looks friggin CRAZY in the previews, and Amanda Seyfried (From Mama Mia, Mean Girls, and Big Love) is fantastic in anything she does! Not to mention the fact that the film is was written by Oscar winner Diablo Cody (she wrote the screenplay for Juno).

I think that the film has the potential to rake in a lot of money this weekend; although Fox isn't a super talented actress, she has been getting tons of attention lately for her roles in the Transformer movies, as well as for what she says in the media. I wouldn't be surprised if the film took in around $30 million.

I reccommend that everyone go see it this weekend and we can all see what we think of the movie on Monday! Halloween's coming up, so why not get a little freaked out!

McSteamy Has a Sex Tape...Kind of...

A tape of Grey's Anatomy hunk Eric Dane along with his wife Rebecca Gayheart and some playboy skank is circulating the internet, with the trio romping around naked in bed and in the tub!

Uh Oh. Not good news for Grey's...GREAT news for everyone else! There is no actual sex on the tape, but al three are in the nude, and a little f'd up I think...They look drunk or high, or both.

Why do so many people like filming themselves naked? Don't they realize that eventually someone will steal it and sell it!?!
