The More Than Musiq poll has officially closed, and you guys have voted Kelly Clarkson as your all-time favorite American Idol contestant!!
This isn't super surprising considering Clarkson has become one of the biggest pop stars of the decade, scoring a bevy of hit singles and albums, 2 Grammy awards, and legions of fans all around the world.
Coming in second surprisingly is our girl Jennifer Hudson. The Oscar AND Grammy winner has become a bonafide superstar thanks to her big voice, and critically acclaimed acting chops! And now that she's super svelte, nothing can stop her now!
In third place you guys picked Carrie Underwood, who has, undoubtedly, become a country icon. She has sold more records than Kelly, won 5 Grammy awards, and the Academy of Country Music Awards 'Entertainer of the Year' award TWICE.
So it's safe to say that you voted for the right people! If I had to choose, these three ladies would be my favorite Idol contestants (with Fantasia a close 4th).

Were you surprised with these results or did you think that everyone would lean towards the original American Idol? I can't believe how huge the TV show X Factor is over here in the UK. Everyone seems to watch it and obsess over the results for the weekends show.
