Who to Look out for in 2010: Music + TV

GLEE GLEE GLEE GLEE GLEE GLEE!!

No other new show has burst on the scene as big as Glee this year, captivating audiences and earning 4 Golden Globe nominations. The show is a bonafide hit, and should continue to be huge in 2010.

Not only did the show score with television audiences, but 25 of the show's songs entered the Billboard hot 100 in 2009, a feat that has not been done since the Beatles in the 60's

So look out for some of the lead characters to release their own albums in the future; Amber Riley (who plays Mercedes) could be the next Jennifer Hudson with pipes like hers, and Leah Michelle (Rachel) gives me chills everytime she opens her mouth!!

Who to Look out for in 2010: Film

You've seen her before in flicks like Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Star Trek, Crossroads (Britney's first film!), and more recently you've kind of seen her in James Cameron's Avatar, playing the CGI/Human Na'vi native Neytiri.

Her name is Zoe Saldana, and it looks like 2010 will be an even bigger year for the up and coming star.

Some of you may know her, some of you may not. She's been consistently working for the last ten years and if 2009 was any indication, she's poised for a huge breakthrough.

Not only was she in two HUGE blockbusters this year (Trek and Avatar), but she has three films already in the works for next year.

Saldana cannot command the attention that other A-list actresses receive; she's no Julia, Angelina, or Meryl yet but give her some time, I think that there's a lot more in store from her!

Blunt has Decade's Top UK Album

British soft-rocker James Blunt earns bragging rights as having the decade's best-selling album in the UK, with his debut Back to Bedlam selling 3.1 million copies since its release in 2005.

Although Blunt only scored one hit in the States with "You're Beautiful", he's been able to maintain his popularity across the pond with successful albums and singles.

Dido's debut album "No Angel" finished second for the decade, while train wreck Amy Winehouse sophomore set "Back to Black" was the third biggest seller of the 2000's.

No U.S. artists cracked the top 10, and the only Non-British act was the Scissor Sisters' self-titled debut, which came in at #9 for the decade.

Vintage Brit

I stumbled upon this awesome video of Britney Spears rehearsing for her first music video way back in 1998. It's for ...Baby One More Time and she is ON POINT!

She looks great and her dance moves are sick!

Avatar is CRAZY GOOD!!

People were probably a little wary about going to see James Cameron's new film Avatar because it looked a little too Sci-Fy for some. But let me tell you, if you don't see this awesome movie you'll be missing out!!

Avatar is visually amazing, and for its reported $500 million price tag, it should be!!

Even if you don't like science fiction alien stuff, this movie is mesmerizing in every sense of the word!!

One movie-goer said it was like "Pocahontas on acid." Sooo true haha! The CGI and special effects are mind blowing!

The film is already raking in some big bucks, go check it out immediately!!!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Jude Law, who turns 37 today!

The Oscar nominated actor celebrates his special day with such celebs as Ted Danson and Mary Tyler Moore! December 29 must be a good day to procreate!!

Law has been getting more attention for hison again, off again relationship with actress Sienna Miller, but that's about to change since his new film Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey, Jr. just opened big at the Box Office.

Gaga Continues to Deliver the Hits

I keep waiting for Lady Gaga to release a song that just sucks, but seriously this woman can't miss.

Her latest song "Telephone" features Beyonce and it is a SICK dance track.

I actually would prefer is B wasn't even in the song; her part is way weaker than Gaga's and she can't match the huge pipes that the new pop queen has.

Take a listen to Telephone!
