A Bloody Good Time

Check out True Blood hotties Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer on the most recent cover of Entertainment Weekly Magazine.

LOVE IT!

Who caught the season 4 premiere on Sunday? It was epic! The show isn't realllly about vampires anymore, it's so much more than that!!

Sookie is as crazy as ever, being all fairy-like and sh*t. But I must admit the premiere was definitely entertaining!

What did you think?

Brit Gets Rave Reviews for Femme Fatale Tour

Britney has done it again.

The pop queen kicked off her Femme Fatale Tour just a couple weeks ago, and she's been getting rave reviews ever since!

Not only is Brit Brit singing live for a good chunk of the show, but she dancing more and looking like she's having the most fun she's had in a while!!

Rolling Stone said it best:

"Britney Spears a dozen years into her career, and yet the kickoff of her Femme Fatale tour at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento last night managed to propel her forward. She's wisely focusing on the present – she sang nine songs from her latest album Femme Fatale and snagged Nicki Minaj as her opening act – while offering possibly her flashiest, fastest moving, and most entertaining production yet...the night belonged to Britney: She managed to prove that she's still progressing as a showgirl. Not only that, she's doing it better than even diehard defenders would’ve predicted. At 29, the pop star whose career seemed in danger of ending just a couple years ago has shown that she's back – hopefully this time to stay."

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER LIVE THIS SUMMER!!!

Adele Still Riding High

She's unstoppable!!!

By now everyone knows that Adele has had a year that most singers can only dream of. And as we come to the end of June, the British dynamo continues to dominate the music world.

Her sophomore album 21 is celebrating it's 16th week as the #1 album in the WORLD, and has passed the 6 million mark in sales, making it the best-selling album of the year. It also looks as if it will remain the biggest record of 2011, seeing as Lady Gaga made a big splash in her debut week, but quickly gave up the throne to Adele yet again.

Her single "Rolling in the Deep" has also been #1 in the U.S. for the past 6 weeks, blowing all of the pop-tart-lip-syncing-wannabes out of the water!

I'm not really going out on a limb here, but I'll make the predictions that she will not only win album of the year at the Grammy Awards, but she'll SWEEP the entire ceremony, winning record and song of the year as well!

GO ADELE!!

America's Sweet Heart Has Still Got It

Oscar winner Julia Roberts is looking AH-mazing on the cover of W Magazine, while promoting her latest film Larry Crowne with equally-as-iconic legend Tom Hanks.

Don't know how much Photoshop is involved here, but nonetheless she looks sexy!!

Gaga Sells 1.1 Million in a Week, But What Does That Really Mean?

Lady Gaga is riding high after the news that her sophomore album Born This Way, soared a staggering 1.1 million copies in its first full week of release in the U.S., becoming the 2nd biggest one week sales for a female singer in history.

It's true that this is an amazing feat, especially in 2011, when it's a big deal to sell a million copies of an album in a year, and it's probably safe to say that it will be one of the biggest records to come out in quite some time.

But how big of a deal is it really? A lot of music fans cried foul because of Gaga's relentless promotion schedule, appearing on practically every TV show under the sun, but even more when she teamed with Amazon.com and offered the album at just 99 cents.

Retailers say that Amazon sales accounted for nearly 400,000 of the total copies sold last week, which is a significant chunk of her total sales. Britney Spears fans were especially disgruntled when the rumor started that Gaga might actually break her record for biggest one week sales by a female (Oops...I Did it Again! sold 1.3 million copies in its first week back in 2000)...thank GOD she didn't.

Here's my take - Gaga is the biggest star in the world right now, and this album is a testament to her solid fan base, but let's not kid ourselves. This 99 cent bullsh*t thing was definitely a ploy on her team's part to break records the easy way.

Back in 2000, fans shelled out $18 for a CD, and I know I know, nobody buys albums anymore and the record industry is in limbo, but if Britney sold her record for 99 cents, believe me fans would scoop that up in a heart beat!

So anyhoo, congrats to Gaga, but when you sell 32 million records and celebrate your 12th year in the biz, then give us a call.

Lady A's New Single More Than "Just" OK

After scoring one of the biggest country cross-over hits in recent memory with "Need You Now", there was some big pressure for Lady Antebellum to deliver a follow-up that would score again on both the pop and country charts.

Well it looks like their record label can rest easy, with the release of "Just a Kiss", a sweet mid-tempo ballad that follows the same formula as "Need You Now", which earned them superstar status (not to mention a sh*t load of Grammy Awards).

It was smart of Lady A to not stray to far from the formula that made them cross-over mega-stars, since the single already debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, and is steadily climbing the country charts as well.

Check out "Just a Kiss" and decide if the tune is a solid follow-up!
