I don't mean any offense, but I'm sure most people didn't even know that Sara Bereilles had an album out!! Her second CD Kaleidoscope Heart sold 90,000 copies this week, a low number, but good enough to take the top spot.

You Love The Original Idol

The More Than Musiq poll has officially closed, and you guys have voted Kelly Clarkson as your all-time favorite American Idol contestant!!

This isn't super surprising considering Clarkson has become one of the biggest pop stars of the decade, scoring a bevy of hit singles and albums, 2 Grammy awards, and legions of fans all around the world.

Coming in second surprisingly is our girl Jennifer Hudson. The Oscar AND Grammy winner has become a bonafide superstar thanks to her big voice, and critically acclaimed acting chops! And now that she's super svelte, nothing can stop her now!

In third place you guys picked Carrie Underwood, who has, undoubtedly, become a country icon. She has sold more records than Kelly, won 5 Grammy awards, and the Academy of Country Music Awards 'Entertainer of the Year' award TWICE.

So it's safe to say that you voted for the right people! If I had to choose, these three ladies would be my favorite Idol contestants (with Fantasia a close 4th).

Stay tuned for a new poll!!

'Make Me Wanna Die' Surprisingly Doesn't Make Me Wanna die

Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen has always gotten on my nerves ever since she began dressing super goth and acting as if she were the spawn of Satan in a mini-dress. I always laugh at actors who's 'real passion' is music, start a shitty ass band, and then act as if they're rock gods. It makes me wanna hurl.

But...and I can't believe I'm saying this, I LOVE The Pretty Reckless, the band that Momsen fronts, which has scored with their single "Make Me Wanna Die". I laughed when I heard the title, but Momsen actually has a great voice, even if the lyrics are PG-13 death metal.

If you combined Evanescence, Courtney Love, and a punch if pop, you'd get The Pretty Reckless. "Make Me Wanna Die" topped the rock charts in the UK, and it's only a matter of time before it catches on here.

Watch the video for "Make Me Wanna Die" and try not to enjoy it!

I F***Ing Love This Song

As one half of the quirky duo Gnarls Barkley who produced the Grammy winning mega hit "Crazy", Cee Lo Green has always been at the forefront of eclectic, R&B/Funk infused jams, and his latest single delivers 100%.

"F*** You" has everyone on the web talking, saying that it could be the 'song of the year', and I have to agree!!

It's fun, catchy, and extremely infectious. and Green has always been able to sing like no other man in the business. This week the song debuts on the Hot 100 at #96, but is expected to make a substantial leap next week after its first full week of sales.

I'm hoping that the song turns into another monster smash for Cee Lo, who has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now.

Take a listen to "F*** You" and enjoy!!

Perry's last album One of the Boys debuted at #9, but went on to sell over a million copies, thanks to her massive hits "I Kissed a Girl", "Hot N Cold", and "Waking up in Vegas".

Taylor Swift's "Mine" Blends into the Background

Taylor Swift recently released the first single off of her upcoming third album Speak Now called "Mine".

...I wanted to give myself some time to really listen to it and then make an educated assessment of the tune. And I have to say, I'm not too impressed.

Yes, it's catchy, yes, it's already a top 10 hit. But nothing in the song stands out to me as anything spectacular, and it's definitely not anything we haven't already heard off of her two previous albums.

But considering she has sold 10 million albums and 25 million digital songs, I'm putting money on the chances that this album will be another multi-platinum bonanza.
